Four services, scoped as short engagements

Each is priced per deliverable after a diagnostic session. No day rates, no open-ended retainers, no dependency on our continued presence.

Service 01

Supplier management

Most small teams manage suppliers through a mixture of email threads, a shared drive folder, and one person's memory. This works until it doesn't — usually at the point a term is missed or a price change goes unnoticed.

We consolidate that into a single register with clear ownership, agreed terms and a review rhythm the team can sustain.

Typical duration: 3–4 weeks

Typical deliverables

  • Consolidated supplier register with named owners
  • Terms summary per supplier, including notice windows
  • Renewal calendar covering the next twelve months
  • Performance scorecard and quarterly review template
  • Escalation path for underperformance
  • Handover note for the person maintaining it

Not included: contract negotiation or legal review.

Service 02

Incident reporting

Exception handling is where small operations lose the most time, and it is almost always invisible. Nobody can say how many exceptions happened last quarter because nobody was counting.

We build a taxonomy that matches your actual failure modes, a reporting template short enough that people fill it in, and a weekly triage review with named owners.

Typical duration: 3–5 weeks

Typical deliverables

  • Incident categories and severity matrix
  • One-page reporting template
  • Triage rules and escalation thresholds
  • Weekly review agenda and owner assignments
  • Root-cause review format
  • Monthly trend report built from existing data

Not included: software licensing or systems configuration.

Service 03

Process documentation

The SOPs nobody reads are the ones written by someone who never did the job. We write ours by watching the work happen, then have a person who has never done the task follow them unaided.

If they get stuck, the document is wrong and we rewrite it.

Typical duration: 2–6 weeks

Typical deliverables

  • Process map with handoffs and decision points
  • SOP set for the recurring weekly tasks
  • New starter onboarding pack
  • Document review cycle and named owner
  • Validation log from a first-time reader
  • Revision history and change process

Not included: video production or e-learning build.

Service 04

Operational review

When capacity is the binding constraint, the useful question is not “what should we improve” but “what should we stop doing”. This engagement answers that with evidence rather than opinion.

We look at where time actually goes, which handoffs break down, and produce a prioritised plan for the next ninety days.

Typical duration: 4–8 weeks

Typical deliverables

  • Time and workload diagnostic
  • Handoff and bottleneck analysis
  • Cost-of-delay estimate for the top three issues
  • Prioritised 90-day action plan
  • Follow-up review at day 90
  • Board-ready summary of findings

Not included: recruitment, systems procurement or financial audit.

How pricing works

Fixed price per deliverable, quoted after the diagnostic session. No day rates, no time-and-materials billing.

Quoted before work starts

You get a written scope with a fixed price and a date. If the scope changes, we re-quote before continuing rather than billing extra hours.

Staged where it helps

Larger engagements split into two or three separately-priced deliverables, so you can stop after the first if it is not working.

No lock-in

Everything produced during the engagement belongs to you, including working files. There is no ongoing licence or subscription.

What a diagnostic session covers

Free, half a day, no obligation. It is also where we decide whether to work together at all.

Current state

Walk through how the operation runs today, including the workarounds nobody documented because they became normal.

Failure points

Identify the two or three places where things genuinely break, as distinct from the places that merely feel busy.

Smallest useful scope

Agree one deliverable that would make a measurable difference, with a date and a definition of done.

Book a diagnostic session

Half a day, free, and you keep the notes whether or not we work together.
