1. Who we are
Azkoro is an operations and supply-chain consultancy based in the United Kingdom. For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018, Azkoro is the data controller for the personal information described in this notice.
2. What information we collect
We collect information in three situations:
- When you contact us. Your name, email address, company name and whatever you choose to tell us about your operation.
- When we work with you. Contact details for the people involved in an engagement, and any information about your processes that you share with us.
- When you visit this website. Basic technical information such as the pages you viewed and the browser you used. See section 9.
We do not buy personal data, and we do not collect information about individuals from third-party data brokers.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to enquiries and arrange diagnostic sessions
- To deliver engagements and produce agreed deliverables
- To issue invoices and keep accounting records
- To send occasional updates, only where you have asked us to
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Lawful basis for processing
Depending on the activity, we rely on:
- Contract — to deliver work you have engaged us to do
- Legitimate interests — to respond to enquiries and run our business, where your rights do not override those interests
- Legal obligation — for tax and accounting records
- Consent — for any update emails, which you can withdraw at any time
5. Who we share information with
We share information only where necessary:
- With accountants and professional advisers, under confidentiality
- With service providers who host our email and documents
- With clients, where you are a subcontractor or supplier to an engagement
- Where required by law or a regulator
We do not share personal information with advertisers or data brokers.
6. International transfers
Some of our service providers process data outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, transfers rely on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the standard contractual clauses, together with appropriate technical safeguards.
7. How long we keep information
- Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement: 24 months
- Engagement records: 7 years, to meet accounting requirements
- Update email subscriptions: until you unsubscribe
- Website analytics: 14 months
8. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate
- Ask us to delete information we no longer need
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Ask us to restrict how we use your information
- Receive your information in a portable format
- Withdraw consent for update emails at any time
To exercise any of these rights, email sophia.carter@azkoro.com. We respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
9. Cookies
This website uses only what is necessary to serve pages correctly. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking or third-party analytics that profile individuals. Full detail is in our cookie notice.
10. Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle personal information, we update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes affecting existing clients are communicated by email.
